Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The West Towers of Beverley Minster, Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
These impressive, slender, twin west towers, built in the Perpendicular style, adorn the west front of Beverley Minster and are iconic landmarks rising high above the flat surrounding countryside. Beverley Minster is considered one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Europe and was built between 1220-1425 from limestone, mostly quarried at Tadcaster. The building contains elements of three Gothic styles - Early English, Decorated and Perpendicular, all of which manage to blend into a harmonious whole!
