Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The past greets you as soon as you step off the pier at the St. Francis of Asissi Church in Siquijor. It is one of the oldest churches in the province. It is called the welcoming church because you need to pass it when going to the different municipalities of Siquijor. It was built in 1783 during the Spanish period. It is mostly made of eggyolks and lime. This is one of the unique churches that is as strong as the faith of the Siquijodnons.
