Summary

[edit]
Description Hidden away on the approach to the river, this Young's pub is slightly overshadowed by its bigger relation, the White Swan Hotel, just around the corner. On first impressions it seems like a solid little locals pub, and entering inside confirms those impressions. A friendly local then, with a regular crowd, very possibly those of a river-faring nature and a big friendly dog (pictured). If you don't fancy nursing a pint of ordinary while you search for a corner that isn't already taken, you can pop upstairs and get a fine and reasonably priced Thai meal. Recommended.
