Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Viaduct 619 Old Chester Road South - geograph.org.uk - 1041332.jpg |
English: The Viaduct 619 Old Chester Road South In Kidderminster it's difficult go very far in any direction without coming across a public house or two, or three. No doubt working in the carpet industry worked up a great thirst so this created the demand for so many licensed premises. Although an awful lot have disappeared over the years, the town still has far more than you would expect for a place of its size. This public house is called The Viaduct. It is named after the huge railway viaduct carrying the main Worcester to Birmingham railway line, and part of which can be seen in the background. |
