Summary

English: The Vernon Arms, Droitwich Road, Hanbury. This looks quite an old building, with some rather unusual windows. Around the corner is what appears to be a carriage arch, so it probably was at one time a coaching inn. The inn is named after the Vernon family, who were large landowners in the area. They lived at Hanbury Hall, which is now a National Trust property. There is a question mark over the future of the pub at present. The owners wish to sell the property, and there in uncertainty over whether it will continue as a pub when sold.
The pub does not have a conventional sign hanging outside. Instead there is a rather impressive Vernon coat of arms above the front door (which is the entrance to the lounge).
