Summary

[edit]
Description

A tram passes through the western suburbs of Edinburgh Scotland having started at the airport and having it's destination in the City centre.

For more than 30 years I lived close to where this picture was taken and in those days there were no trams. Consequently the view towards the castle (which still dominates the skyline) was then unobstructed by power lines.

Just visible above the tram is a commuter train also heading towards the city. The route is the Edinburgh to Glasgow and Edinburgh to Northern Scotland lines. They split 1/2 a mile behind where I took the photo.
