ON THE BORDERSRhodesia!) troops numerous. Many Ai-abs antl Indians dwell inthe coast lands. The physical features of thecountry are on a grand scale, the principal draw-back being the lack of navigable rivers. Ofnoil-navigable rivers there are many, some ofimposing length. The major part of thecoimtry is a tableland, 3,000 to 4,000 feetin average elevation and with an undulatingsurface.
