Californias grounds will ultimatelybe covered with turf, as the plan is to remove thesurface earth, level the rocks in the sub-soil andreplace the earth above in such a manner as tohave gently-sloping, almost ideal banks for seat-ing purposes. Besides this, bleachers will be builtto accommodate twenty thousand people. Thefootball and baseball field will be separate and ahalf-mile track will be laid around both. THE TIGBR. The Colorado Springs Musical Club will ad-mit students, in: all departments of the Collegeand Academy, to the Goldmark lecture-recital on Saturday night, April 30, Perkins Hall, for35c, instead of 75c, the regular admission fee. The tickets will be on sale at Coburn Li-brary Thursday and Friday from 4 to 5, and onSaturday night the student tickets will be soldat the door for 35c.
