At thesemagnificent hoiels there is a continual round of gaiety andamusement from the beginning to the end of the season. TheMarzden House, Bay View House, and Jefferson Houseare also located at Alexandria Bay, and furnish comfortableaccommodation at moderate rates. Westminster Park is aboutone mile from Alexandria Bay and is reached by a ferry steamermaking hourly trips in connection with the hotel at that pomt.It is a most picturesque and enchanting spot. Y., andKingston, Canada, carrying Express, United States and Britishmails between the two countries and connecting with all NewYork Central trains to and from Cape Vincent, and at Kingstonwith the Grand Trunk railway, Canadian Pacific Railway (t/aKingston & Pembroke Railway) Kingston, Napanee & WesternRailway, Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Companys steamers,BayofQuinte, RiJ.eau Canal and Lake steamers. This CompanyalsoOperates a line of boats between Kingston and Gananoque,Canada, and ferry service between Kingston and Wolfe Island. The steamers of both of these companies burn anthracitecoal, which accounts for the entire absence of smoke and theirconspicuous cleanliness, resulting in the well-merited reputa-tion of the White Squadron.
