Title
English: The Study at 219 North Delaware Street---The President's Favorite Place?
Description
English:

The study. An antique table has several books read by Mr. and Mrs. Truman, and has a tray with assorted items. Curtains adorn the windows.

President Truman spent many hours reading at this table. The chair and table were often surrounded with stacks of books. Truman was an avid reader, and had an extraordinary memory of things he did read. People who walked by the home in the evening recalled they often saw the shadow silhouettes of the Trumans in their study, reading together.
