English: The Stroudwater Canal Looking west from the Blunder Lock by the A419.
It is alleged that the foreman of the construction team had a dispute with the canal company, so he deliberately built to the wrong depth. The next lock, under the bridge just visible, is Pike Lock. With thanks to another member for the extra information. |
