FIG. 7.-LONGITUDINAL SECTION .^T HOBOKEN TERMINAL and incoming passengers will be discharged on to the in-bound platform on one side of the car before outbound pas-sengers are admitted from the outbound platform on theother side of the car. The length of the platforms is 370ft., allowing accommodation for eight-passenger-car trains,which it is expected can be dispatched on a headway of iy2minutes. Underneath the five passenger platforms is amezzanine passageway, connecting with the Dey Street tun- west and discharge on a platform about 250 ft. in length,separated by a barrier from the inbound platform of theelevated cars. They then traverse a second loop and canload passengers from the Hudson Companies lines on twoother tracks or from Hoboken on three tracks. Connectionwith the Lackawanna Railroad station is made through apassageway leading to a concourse directly under the surfacetrack.
