In many cases of electrical opera- one of great advantage for economical operation, particularlyas the improved Pond steel-tired car-wheel lathe, illustratedherewith, is capable of truing 42-in. wheels, with the hardestKrupp tires, at an average rate of six pairs per day of ten hours.
