he running of a barber shop within the car house is consid-ered a new feature, and one that the men will appreciate. Aswill be noticed from the plans, somewhat elaborate provisionhas been made for bed rooms. The rooms are neatly furnishedwith cots and toilet and other requisites. The rooms are al-ready popular, and it is probable that during the winter monthsthe sleeping accommodations will be taxed to the full capacity, especially during storms. A charge is made to the men of 10cents and 15 cents per night for a cot. A register is kept muchthe same as a hotel register, and the men enter their names forthe time they want a room. The rooms are assigned in theorder of application. The beds are made and the rooms keptneat and clean by a janitor. The tub and shower baths arethe most popular feature of the house. Entrance to the second story is had through a one-story en-trance hall on the north side of the building, and so arrangedas to avoid using any of the storage space of the car house
