Besidesthese cars, the new interurban line has one baggage car, oneconstruction car, which is used also as an electric locomotive,and four flat cars. For the East Depere service there are twodouble-truck cars very similar to the first described. The citylines are served by short, single-truck cars, equipped with re-cent types of Westinghouse motors. Accompanying this article are plans of the new car houseand office building recently built. This building is 58^2 ft- x191 ft. Adjoining it is the old car house of about the same size,which is being remodeled into a very good building. Most ofthe tracks have pits with concrete floors. In the rear is theold power station, which is to be remodeled into a machine andrepair shop. STANDARD CAR turn-outs. The latter are designed to permit a half-hourheadway. A beautiful spot for a pleasure resort has been secured at thepoint where Apple Creek enters the Fox River, the location ofwhich can be seen on the map. This strip of ground is easilyaccessible from the interurban track, and is without doubt oneof the most beautiful places in Wisconsin. It consists of ahigh bluff, on one side of which is the Fox River, and on theother side Apple Creek. The ground is wooded with good sizedsecond growth timber. It is proposed to build a club house onone of the highest points, and it will make an ideal place for adavs outing and will not necessitate any large investment. The building of the new interurban line has been carried onunder the direction of President George W. Knox, of the KnoxEngineering Company, of Chicago. R. M.
