The same is true of the White City, at SavinRock Park, New Haven, which recently closed its first season witha record which attracted wide attention. It is said that the White City in Chicago, which Mr. Boyce andhis associates are now constructing, will have some absolutely novelattractions and features as well as the most profitable devices whichare now in use. Mr. Boyces chief associate in this enterprise isJoseph Beifield, owner of the Sherman House in Chicago. Workon the grounds was.commenced last week and it is planned to openthe resort by June 1 next. A feature of the park will be What is de-signed to be the largest electric tower in the United States. It willbe 410 ft. in height and will be studded with no fewer than 100,000 STREET RAILWAY JOURNAL.
