| Description |
English: The Square. This slip road between Chestnut Avenue (behind the viewpoint) and 442166 (ahead), the shops to the left and an area off the picture to the right is called The Square.
The stream is flowing in the direction of view (south-westerly) and is one of the water courses for Thornton beck. The building on the left is The Forge and houses a tea room (nearest), 442464 (farthest). For a photograph taken from approximately the same viewpoint but looking in the opposite direction, click here 441929. For a photograph taken from a few metres ahead, on the corner of, and across, Malton Gate, click here 442503. |
