Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Spread Eagle, 2 King Street - geograph.org.uk - 1670926.jpg |
English: The Spread Eagle, 2 King Street Yet another of Hereford's splendid old taverns. This one is very handy for the cathedral! The building is believed to be 17th century, although apparently the cellar looks as if it could be older. There were at one time stables at the back, and the access to these can be seen at the front of the building. No old pub would be complete without its resident ghost, and this one is claimed to be haunted by a mysterious woman dressed in old fashioned clothes.
