English: The South Orchard Looking north to the hall. The Yew Alley hedge is on the left and the Hornbeam Alley hedge is at the back of the orchard. These two hedges form a cross-shape to divide the South Court Garden into four rooms. The orchard contains old varieties of apples, pears, plums, damsons and greengages. On the left is a shrub rose border. |
