Description

This is the back end of one wing of the long buildings at Megiddo, each of which is divided by a plastered centre aisle. The troughs visible here between the aisle and the wing (between the supporting pillars) led early excavators to declare these buildings stables. But they are more likely storehouses and date from the time of Omri and Ahab.
