English: The Smith's Arms - reputedly England's smallest pub The story goes that King Charles II stopped in Godmanstone and asked at the blacksmith's forge for a drink. The blacksmith responded that he had no licence to sell alcohol. "From now on, you have a licence to sell beer and porter," said the King.
As you will see by looking at 376901, at 3 March 2007 it was no more. |
