Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Site of Capel Uchaf and the Cemetery. Capel Uchaf, the Calvinistic Methodist chapel which gave the hamlet its name - it simply means Upper Chapel - was built in 1761. Shortly after closing its doors for the last time in February 2001, the building was demolished. The grave yard is still in use. The roadside houses on the left of the photograph are all derelict. Capel Uchaf is overall a rather sad place.
