Description
English: The Shrine of Nymphe is located in the area between Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian street and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. The shrine dates back to the 7th century B.C. and was active until the 2nd century B.C. Nymphe was the protectress of marriage and derived her attributes from Hera and Aphrodite.
