Description
English: Islam in Georgia was introduced in 654 when an army sent by the Third Caliph of Islam, Uthman, conquered Eastern Georgia and established Muslim rule in Tbilisi.
العربية: عرفت جورجيا قديما باسم بلاد الكرج، حيث أطلق العرب هذا الاسم، وهي تجاور بلاد الرحاب من الشمال، والرحاب عند الجغرافين العرب اصطلاح يشمل أذربيجان وأرمنيا وأران، لهذا فانتشار الإسلام بجورجيا مرتبط بانتشاره في بلاد الرحاب.
Башҡортса: Ислам дине хәҙерге заман Грузия биләмәһендә ғәрәптәрҙең яулап алыуы дәүеренән күләме һәм әһәмиәте буйынса икенсе булып тора.
فارسی: مسجد جمعه در تفلیس اسلام در گرجستان به زمان خلافت عثمان بن عفان بازمی‌گردد که با لشکرکشی به منطقهٔ قفقاز توانست شرق گرجستان را فتح کرده و حکومت اسلامی را در تفلیس تشکیل دهد. جمعیت کنونی مسلمانان گرجستان ۹٫۹٪ اعلام شده‌است، که جمعیتی بالغ بر ۴۶۳،۰۶۲ نفر را شامل می‌شود. برخی از آمارها جمعیت مسلمانان را در بازهٔ ۱۰٪-۱۳٪ اعلام کرده‌است.
