Description
English: The Saratogian Building, located at 20 Lake Avenue at the corner of Maple Avenue in Saratoga Springs, New York was built in 1905 as the headquarters for The Saratogian newspaper. The newspaper moved to 7 Wells Street in 2017, and the building was vacant until 2019, when Walt & Whitman, a beer hall and coffee shop, moved into 12,000 square feet of the 20,000 square foot building, which is a contributing property to the Broadway Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is also part of the city's Architectural Review District. (Sources: [1], [2], [3])
