Description
English: Mission San Miguel Arcangel in San Miguel, California was established as a Spanish mission in 1797. The mission remains in use today as a parish church. It retains most of the original layout of the church grounds and even some of its surrounding village although the bell tower stands in ruined splendor representing its long ago past. It has been listed on the U.S. Register of Historic Places.
