Description
English: The Royal Navy during the Second World War
On board HMS VICTORIOUS a naval fighter pilot and observer of 820 Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, both in full flying kit, are resting and reading whilst they wait for orders to come through to intercept enemy planes off the coast of Norway. The ship is taking part in an offensive against enemy shipping and helping to cover a Russian convoy.
