Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Rhiwbach Tramroad across the Bowydd Dam - geograph.org.uk - 562812.jpg |
English: The Rhiwbach Tramroad across the Bowydd Dam. This tramroad was built in 1862-3, less than a decade after the construction of the dam and continued in use until the 1960s. For most of the period horses were used to pull the wagons, but in the post WWII period an electric rail tractor was introduced. |
