Description

A mosaic of the ground near Opportunity’s wheels as it continues its southward journey. Layered sandstone similar to what was seen in Victoria Crater still predominates the area. If and when the rover makes it all the way to the much larger Endeavor Crater, it should be able to get an even deeper look into the rock. This natural-color take on the scene comes from James Canvin.
