English: The Reconstruction of 'an Incident'- Civil Defence Training in Fulham, London, 1942 Civil Defence workers help the walking wounded, all with blankets draped around their shoulders, into the First Aid Post which has been set up in this school building, probably Mary Boon School, on the corner of Earsby Street and Bishop King's Road, near Avonmore Road. The apartment block visible in the background is probably Avonmore Mansions, on Avonmore Road. The road from which they are entering the school gates, towards the right of the photograph, is probably Gorleston Street. |
