English: The Reading Room. In The Londs. 'The Londs' is a narrow alley which links the shops on High Street with the beach further east. It is protected by a conservation order and has hence retained its original character. It is bordered by The Pleasaunce > 1119321 - designed by Edwin Lutyens and dating from 1897-9. |
