Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Rathlin Island ferries (geograph 1927477 by Rossographer).jpg |
English: The Rathlin Island ferries. Seen here in Ballycastle harbour are the two ferries currently operating between the town and Rathlin Island. On the right is the 'Rathlin Express', an eighteen-metre aluminium catamaran. It is a double deck catamaran with a passenger capacity of almost 100 and can complete the crossing in 20 minutes. It entered service in 2009. On the left is the MV 'Canna' which can carry vehicles and packages as well as foot passengers. The crossing time on the Canna is around 45 minutes. |
