Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Plume of Feathers Sign Tradition says that this sign, which is sometimes seen as the Prince of Wales's Feather, Feathers, Prince's Arms and other names, comes from the Black Prince. In 1346 he defeated the King of Bohemia, John of Luxemburg and assumed his crest and motto. But others say it is a sign which came from poor painting and that it is really a debased version of a Fleur de Lys, the lilies of France.
