| Description |
English: The Pilgrim's Steps - (close-up) The PILGRIM STEPS are in the "Wee Dock" where the boat-owners moor their punts.They are on the south side close to the road and are so called because they were used by people boarding boats which took them out to the sailing ships bound for America. The sailing ships were anchored off the Skerries. This was before the big harbour was constructed and there was only the old dock. |
