Itwas named afteran old residentand hotel-keep-er called Castle.An earnest ofwhat may beseen in the lovelyvalley, that lia>such unlimitedextent before tilltraveler, may bfseen in a floui-i s h i n g orangetree, growing inthe open air, ina garden only afew yards fiomthe railroadtrack. BLOOMER cut. Fruit orchards are numerous and extensive—these foot-hills being one of the best sections ofthe State for growing berries, apples, cherries,peaches and figs. Almost every one will havenoticed the poison oak or poison ivy, and unlessone knows that he cannot be affected by it, heshould avoid an intimate acquaintance.
