| Description |
English: The Otter Pool This is a part of the Black Water of Dee, or River Dee, in Galloway Forest Park. There is car parking & a picnic area, & a good place for paddling. It can be reached via a very scenic forest drive known as the Raiders Road, which stretches for 10 miles between the A712 (below the Clatteringshaws Dam) to the A762 at Bennan near Mossdale. A £2 toll is payable to follow the route through the forest park. |
