Description
العربية: جامع بني أمية الكبير، ويعرف اختصاراً بالجامع الأموي، هو المسجد الذي أمر الوليد بن عبد الملك بتشييده في دمشق، ويُعد رابع أشهر المساجد الإسلامية بعد حرمي مكة والمدينة والمسجد الأقصى، كما يُعد واحداً من أفخم المساجد الإسلامية، وأحد عجائب الإسلام السبعة في العالم.
English: The Umayyad Mosque, also known as the Great Mosque of Damascus, located in the old city of Damascus, is one of the largest and oldest mosques in the world. The mosque is also important in Islam because of its historical and eschatological reports and events associated with the mosque.
