English: The Old Tollgate In the 1950s and '60s this was used as an advert for 'Crown masonry paints' and was painted white. There are still a few signs of the paint but for the most part it has weathered away.
This Toll house was part of the Michelgrove Estate and was in use as such from 1813 to 1878. |
