English: The Old School House, Newark Rd, Tuxford. This old village school was built in 1830 alongside what was then the Great North Road. It was the village school for mixed infants and girls up to 11 years. The building ceased this function in 1877 when its Victorian replacement was built across the road. It is now a private home. |
