Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Old Hall, Hambleton, Rutland Water. All that remains of Middle Hambleton are the 'Old Hall' and some dwellings on the lower slope. This splendid house (Jacobean: built in 1611, now situated just at the water's edge), stands on the only bit of dry land in this square, apart from the piece I was standing on which was only visible because of the low water level.
