Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Old Chapel at Easton near Winchester - geograph.org.uk - 1746446.jpg |
English: The Old Chapel at Easton near Winchester The Old Chapel at Easton near Winchester. The disused and semi-derelict Primitive Methodist Chapel, built c.1909, sold to us 1982 and converted to 6-bedroom house - later reduced to 4. In 1982 it had only 10ft of land at rear. By 2008 more land was in use as its garden. I have more pictures of it as the conversion work progressed, and other interesting documents including a telegram from one of the builders who had missed his return train from London. Also have photographs of the Church's original Opening Day and congregation members. |
