hominy feedand some oil meal with salt added, andoccasionally copperas. Most of thepigs which have died wasted away andlingered a couple of weeks, but nowthey are dropping off faster. I had afew of my sows off their feed a few Idays but they have all apparently gotwell. At first I thought these pigs were1wormy but now it looks like cholera. They sleep in a 16x28 house( cementfloor) divided into 8 pens with an al-leyway so they can pile up very handi-ly. Now will you please have some ofyour readers who have gone thru thisplague adviss me as to whether I hadbetter «ut out the hogs for a year orwhether by taking precaution, such ascleaning up with zenoleum and lime,I can raise pigs next year in the sameplace provided my sows raise me anypigs next spring. I feed cattle arid needthe hogs. Please give a worm specificwhich can be fed in slop, and whichpigs will eat without starving themto it, and that will knock the wormsout. Any advice along these lines will Do Healthy AnimalsNeed A Tbivm?

diet as Nature intended. Wemust remember, however, thatthe animal domesticated is sub-ject to unnatural conditions. Thefeeder is striving to make a iooolb. steer in a years time when Nature wouldtake much longer. He is making a 200 lb. hogin one-fourth the period unassisted growthwould require for the same operation. Morethan this, he is asking the cow, whose capacityfor milk secretion was limited to the brief in-fancy of the calf, to do violence to Natures plan tancy ot uie calf, to do violence to Nature s planand produce milk for eleven months. Now, of course, extra production means extra food, extra food, if long continued, means a deranged digestive system. Hence it is easy toit even a healthv animal continuously overfed needs the assistance of a corrective tnnic. >u, 11 lung cuuuuueu, meaim a ueiau^cu uigesuve system. tieiice 11 IS easy to healthy animal continuously overfed needs the assistance of a corrective tonic.
