The Oologist and its read-ers are surely under obligations to thewriter for the privilege of accompan-ing him on this splendid outing trip. The Editor. Around Red Lake In a Launch B. L. E. HealeyPart VIt was now Sunday noon and alsowe had planned on eating that dinnerat the Agency, we still had a half dayto reach our ultimate destination onscheduled time. The lake was veryquiet and we were tempted severaltimes to head straight across a dis-tance of but twelve miles and onehalf, thereby saving the time it other-wise it would take to go around theEast end of this, the South Lake. Wehowever, decided that we had plentyof time to reach the Agency for sup-per and we would stick to the advicegiven us to stay close to the shore atall times. At the extreme East endwe found a shore line some five or sixmiles long of as clean and white asand as one could see. We weretempted to take advantage of thisbeautiful bea
