h Point, Mich.,two miles west of the light house onthe point and thirty or forty rodsfrom the lake shore and in April thehawks gathered there in flocks andduring the middle of the day from oneto three flocks of from twenty-five toone hundred could be seen high inthe air, circling around and apparent-ly staying in the same place as longas I could watch them. They wereseen for a week or two. A boy that lived a few rods from where we were viisting wrote me ayear or two after that he stood attheir front gate and shot 10 SparrowHawks in 10 shots in 10 minutes. TheHawks were chasing Blue Jays andother birds. I saw flocks of Blue Jays there ofa hundred or more flying around likewe see swallows over a pond of water. Delos Hatch,Oakfield, Wis. Indian Arrow HeadsI have found a number of perfectIndian arrow heads in and aroundcamps. The best time that I find tohunt them is after a rain. I just takea stroll over the sand hills and hardlyever fail to find one or more. Ramon Graham,Fort Worth, Tex.
