The Acadian Flycatcher has almostentirely disappeared as a breeder onthe Tacony Creek in Philadelphiaand Montgomery Counties but is rareon the Poquessing Creek in Bucksand Philadelphia Counties. It oc-curs in small numbers only on theNeshaniny Creek in Bucks Countyand Crum Creek in Delaware County. According to my observations, it isslowly disappearing everywhereabout Philadelphia except on theWissahickon Creek in Fairmont Park,Philadelphia, where in the extensiveforests that covers the banks of thisstream with both coniferous and de-ciduous trees, the species is appar-ently increasing.
