English: The North Pier, Bangor (1) See 370642. Before the North Pier was rebuilt, more than 20 years ago, a northerly, such as this one, made entering the harbour a treacherous affair. The present structure, with its wave breaking design, has helped matters considerably. For a view of the pier in calmer conditions see 392563. |
