Description

Notes: shows Loco 3805 crossing the southern abutment of the bridge which was constructed in concrete and face sandstone with classical detailing, particularly to the side elevations. Therefore the train is running north-south.

The last run by a 30 class loco was Gosford to Newcastle in December 1970.

The first 38 class locomotive was withdrawn in 1961 with the last withdrawn in December 1970.

Format: B&W print, 20 cm x 14.5 cm

Date Range: c. 1950s

Location: the Main Northern railway line across the Hawkesbury River, located just north of the town of Brooklyn on the northern outskirts of Sydney.
