Description

From anecdotal evidence, we believe that many homes had copies of this poster hanging up during the 1940s. The atmosphere is indeed of the enormous fun, variety and colour to be experienced by all at the Centennial Exhibition.
The poster design style is reminiscent of popular comics, and appeals to a thirst for celebration and escapism, especially with a World War beginning on the horizon.
