Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Nab, Robin Hood's Bay. The Nab is the rocky outcrop just north of Boggle Hole.

At Boggle Hole the cliffs at beach height are formed from layers of shale and hence are quite darkly coloured. This is in contrast to the cliffs of clay just around the corner of the cliff on the photograph.

Fossils may be found in the cliffs, see 772842.

At high tide the sea laps around the foot of this cliff .
