| Description |
English: The Museum at Sandringham. What is now the museum at Sandringham, used to be coach houses and a stable block. It has had several uses over the last century. The Sandringham Fire Brigade was based here in the 1930s. Queen Mary's Carving School occupied part of this building until 1957. The early museum opened in 1930 by King George V, housing big game trophies. When Sandringham House opened to the public in 1977, pieces commissioned by the Royal Family in the last century were put on display here. The main attraction at the museum is the old cars of the Royal Family. |
